Traffic Alerts & Construction Updates

The Olivas Park Drive Extension & Levee Construction Project is currently underway.

TRAFFIC REMAINS OPEN

  • Traffic control is in place, and there may be minor delays, but access to the dealerships within the Auto Center remains open in both directions.

Beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, Olivas Park Drive will be closed between Golf Course Drive and Perkin Avenue. This closure will remain in place until early 2027, when the new roadway is scheduled to open to traffic.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured as follows:

  • Eastbound traffic: Olivas Park Drive → detour onto Golf Course Drive → King Drive → return to Perkin Avenue.
  • Westbound traffic: Perkin Avenue → detour onto King Drive → Golf Course Drive → return to Olivas Park Drive.
